Job Description
Join our team as a Rural Property Caretaker Assistant, focusing on the meticulous and quiet maintenance of a specific rural property near Bundaberg, QLD. This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a peaceful, self-directed environment and possesses a strong work ethic. You will support the Senior Caretaker in ensuring the property’s upkeep, focusing on general maintenance, groundskeeping, and minor repairs without the need for extensive heavy machinery operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the general upkeep and cleanliness of property grounds and buildings.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs or potential issues.
- Perform basic gardening, lawn mowing, and weed control.
- Minor repairs and maintenance tasks on fencing, sheds, and equipment.
- Support in monitoring water infrastructure and animal welfare as directed.
- Maintain a tidy and organized workspace and storage areas.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental guidelines.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of general property maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Reliability and a proactive attitude.
- Valid Australian driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
