Job Description
Are you ready for an unforgettable summer? Mantra Mackay is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Resort Activities Helper to join our dynamic team for the upcoming summer season. This role is perfect for individuals who love interacting with people, have a passion for creating fun experiences, and thrive in a lively social environment. As an Activities Helper, you will be instrumental in organizing and facilitating a range of resort activities, ensuring our guests, particularly families and younger visitors, have an incredible and engaging stay. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in the hospitality industry, build your social network, and make lasting memories in a beautiful resort setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of daily resort activities, including sports, games, arts and crafts, and evening entertainment.
- Engage with guests of all ages, encouraging participation and fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
- Prepare and set up activity areas and equipment, ensuring safety standards are met.
- Provide clear instructions and demonstrations for various activities.
- Supervise guests during activities, ensuring their safety and enjoyment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of activity supplies and common areas.
- Communicate effectively with guests regarding activity schedules and resort offerings.
- Collaborate with other team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Handle guest inquiries and provide basic information about the resort and local attractions.

Preferred Qualifications

- First Aid and/or CPR certification
- Interest in tourism and hospitality
- Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus
