Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Qualified Plasterer to join our dynamic team in Bundaberg. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for plastering, ensuring they are clean, dry, and free from imperfections.
- Measure, cut, and install plasterboard sheets on walls and ceilings.
- Apply plaster compounds, creating smooth and seamless finishes.
- Perform patching, repair work, and decorative plastering as required.
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans accurately.
- Ensure all work complies with Australian building codes and safety regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with other trades and site management.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Qualified Plasterer in commercial settings.
- Proficiency in all aspects of plasterboard installation and finishing techniques.
- Strong understanding of construction safety practices and OHS guidelines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Valid Australian driver's license and reliable transport.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant trade qualification/certification in plastering.
- Experience with various plastering materials and finishes (e.g., specialised acoustic panels, fire-rated systems).
- White Card (Construction Induction).
- First Aid certification.
