Job Description

Join Toll Group as a Palletizer Operator Assistant and embark on an exciting career in our Fremantle distribution center. You will play a crucial role in our day-shift operations, assisting with the efficient and safe palletizing of goods, ensuring they are ready for storage and dispatch. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist experienced Palletizer Operators in the manual and automated palletizing of various goods and products.
  • Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment under supervision after receiving proper training.
  • Ensure pallets are stacked correctly, securely, and in accordance with safety standards and company guidelines.
  • Perform quality checks on outgoing pallets to verify product integrity and accuracy.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Support inventory management by assisting with stock rotation and accurate product placement.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding operational flow and any potential issues.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Required Skills

  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects repeatedly (up to 25kg) throughout a shift.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic understanding of warehouse safety principles.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting (not essential, but a plus).
  • Current Forklift Licence (LF Class) or willingness to obtain one.
  • Understanding of basic inventory procedures.
