Job Description
Join Precision Painting Plus as a Painter’s Offsider, a vital role supporting our skilled painters in Elizabeth, NJ. This part-time position offers consistent day work, focusing on preparing sites, assisting with painting tasks, and ensuring a clean and organized workspace. We are looking for a reliable and meticulous individual who is eager to learn and contribute to high-quality finishes. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare work areas by covering floors, furniture, and other surfaces to prevent paint splatters.
- Assist painters with setup, including preparing paints, tools, and equipment.
- Clean and maintain painting tools, brushes, rollers, and equipment after use.
- Perform basic surface preparation tasks such as light sanding, cleaning, and masking.
- Ensure the job site remains clean, organized, and free of debris throughout the workday.
- Help load and unload materials and equipment from vehicles.
- Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines for a secure work environment.
- Assist with other general labor tasks as required by the lead painter.
Required Skills
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and carry equipment (up to 50 lbs).
- Reliable and punctual.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
