Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Morning Porter to join our dedicated team on a part-time roster. This role is crucial in ensuring our guests receive a warm welcome and efficient service from the moment they arrive. You will be responsible for assisting guests with their luggage, maintaining the cleanliness and order of our lobby and common areas, and generally supporting the smooth operation of the hotel. Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet arriving and departing guests, assisting them with luggage to and from their apartments.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the lobby, common areas, and entrance.
- Assist with package and mail deliveries to guest rooms or designated areas.
- Provide guests with information about hotel facilities, local attractions, and directions.
- Support the front desk team with various tasks, including preparing guest amenities or light administrative duties.
- Ensure all guest requests are handled promptly and courteously.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards immediately to management.
- Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.

- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and carry luggage and other items, demonstrating physical stamina.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role.
- Knowledge of the Bendigo area and local attractions.
- Valid driver's license.
- First Aid certification.
