Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Morning Cleaner to join our Goulburn team on a part-time roster. This role is crucial in ensuring our store maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene for our customers and staff. You will be responsible for a variety of cleaning tasks, primarily focused on the morning shift to prepare the store before opening or during quieter periods. Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, ensuring adequate supplies are maintained.
- Dusting and polishing surfaces, fixtures, and furniture.
- Emptying waste bins and replacing liners.
- Cleaning windows and glass surfaces.
- Ensuring all cleaning equipment is maintained and stored correctly.
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations and company cleaning protocols.
- Reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
Required Skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to cleanliness.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting and bending.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a commercial cleaning role, preferably in a retail environment.
- Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) procedures.
- Ability to adapt to a changing roster as needed.
