Job Description
Join 3M as an Injection Moulding Loader and be a crucial part of our manufacturing team in Anaheim. You will be responsible for loading raw materials into injection moulding machines, monitoring material levels, and ensuring a smooth and continuous production flow. Key Responsibilities
- Load raw material (plastic pellets) into injection moulding machines.
- Monitor material levels and ensure continuous machine operation.
- Assist with machine setup and changeovers under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area around the machines.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures rigorously.
- Communicate any material supply issues or machine problems to supervisors.
- Assist in basic inventory management of raw materials.
- Adhere to quality control standards for manufactured products.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively on a 24/7 rotating roster, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Basic understanding of mechanical processes (can be developed on the job).
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Strong commitment to safety.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (even if not injection moulding).
- Forklift certification (not required, but a plus).
- Basic computer literacy for logging materials.
