Job Description
Big-D Construction is seeking a reliable and vigilant Gatekeeper to join our team at a busy construction site in Logan, UT. This is an essential entry-level role perfect for individuals who are organized, responsible, and looking for a stable position with minimal stress. You will be the first point of contact for all site visitors, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to site safety protocols. If you’re looking for a straightforward job that plays a crucial role in site management, this is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access to the construction site, ensuring only authorized personnel and vehicles enter.
- Verify credentials of all visitors, contractors, and deliveries upon arrival.
- Maintain accurate daily logs of all site entries and exits.
- Communicate with site management regarding any unusual activities or security concerns.
- Ensure all visitors adhere to basic site safety rules before entry (e.g., wearing hard hats if required).
- Direct incoming traffic and deliveries to appropriate areas on site.
- Report any equipment malfunctions at the gate or surrounding area.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Basic computer literacy for log maintenance.
- Strong attention to detail and observation skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in security, gatekeeping, or a similar role.
