Job Description

Join the Fremantle Arts Centre as a Gallery Host in a distinguished government-affiliated cultural setting. This pivotal role involves being the first point of contact for visitors, ensuring a welcoming and informative experience while safeguarding the integrity of our exhibitions. You will contribute to the operational excellence and visitor satisfaction of a premier arts institution, working within a professional team dedicated to promoting cultural engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly welcome and assist all visitors, providing information about exhibitions, artists, and the Centre's facilities.
  • Monitor gallery spaces to ensure the safety of artworks and the general public, adhering to security protocols.
  • Handle visitor inquiries and provide directions, ensuring a positive and engaging experience.
  • Assist with the setup and pack-down of gallery events and activities as required.
  • Maintain a pristine and organised gallery environment.
  • Process ticket sales, membership registrations, and gift shop purchases accurately.
  • Respond to emergency situations calmly and effectively, following established procedures.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver exceptional visitor services.

  • First Aid certification.
