Job Description
Join our dynamic team at Tesco as an Early Bird Picker! We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to help us ensure our store shelves are stocked and ready for our customers bright and early. This part-time role involves working morning shifts, playing a crucial part in maintaining our high standards of product availability and presentation. If you enjoy a fast-paced environment and take pride in contributing to a smooth start to the day, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack items according to customer orders or stock replenishment lists.
- Efficiently sort and move stock, ensuring products are placed in the correct locations.
- Maintain a clean and organised working environment.
- Operate manual handling equipment safely and responsibly (e.g., pallet trucks, trolleys).
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and store policies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily targets and maintain operational flow.
- Ensure product quality and report any discrepancies or damaged items.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical fitness to lift, carry, and move various items.
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures.
