Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our manufacturing team as Crate & Pallet Makers. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for those who are eager to learn and work with their hands. Full training will be provided on the safe and efficient use of power tools and equipment required to construct high-quality timber crates and pallets. You will be an integral part of our production line, ensuring our products are packaged and transported securely. Key Responsibilities

  • Operate various power tools safely and efficiently to cut, shape, and assemble timber components for crates and pallets.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate product dimensions.
  • Inspect timber materials for quality and defects, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to all workplace health and safety (WHS) regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on tools and equipment.
  • Assist with material handling and movement of finished products as required.

  • Willingness to learn and take direction.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or workshop environment (even if informal).
  • Familiarity with basic hand tools.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transport.
  • Forklift license (LF class) is a bonus, but not required for initial employment.
