Job Description
Are you a highly motivated and physically fit individual looking for consistent work with excellent pay? Toll Group in Grafton is seeking dedicated Container Unloaders to join our dynamic warehousing team. This is a critical role that ensures the efficient flow of goods through our distribution centres. You will be responsible for manually unloading a variety of products from shipping containers, ensuring items are handled with care and placed correctly for further processing. This role requires significant physical stamina, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to workplace safety. Key Responsibilities
- Manually unload goods from shipping containers efficiently and safely.
- Sort and stack products onto pallets according to specific instructions.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual handling equipment as required (training provided).
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or discrepancies.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets and deadlines.
- Assist with other general warehouse duties as needed.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy items repeatedly (up to 25kg).
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety procedures.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required.
- Excellent time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manual labour role.
- Forklift licence (advantageous, but not essential).
- Experience with various manual handling techniques.
