Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Carpet Cleaning Offsider to join our team in Wangaratta. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has a strong work ethic, and is eager to learn. As an Offsider, you will work alongside our experienced technicians, assisting with the delivery of high-quality carpet and upholstery cleaning services in residential homes. Key Responsibilities
- Assist the lead technician with the setup and pack-down of cleaning equipment.
- Prepare client homes for cleaning, including moving light furniture and laying protective coverings.
- Operate cleaning machinery and tools under supervision.
- Pre-vacuum carpets and treat stains as instructed.
- Communicate courteously and professionally with clients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work vehicle and equipment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company procedures at all times.
- Assist with customer inquiries and ensure customer satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Strong physical fitness and ability to lift and move equipment (up to 20kg).
- Reliable and punctual.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current Australian Driver's License and reliable transport.
- Previous experience in a customer service role.
- Basic understanding of cleaning processes (not essential, but a bonus).
