Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Cable Pulling Labourers to join our growing team in Hervey Bay. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking for a stable, high-paying role with consistent Monday to Friday work. You will be instrumental in the installation and maintenance of critical telecommunications and electrical infrastructure, working on various projects across the region. Full training will be provided for candidates with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. This role offers excellent career progression within a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled technicians and electricians with the installation of various types of cables (e.g., fibre optic, copper, electrical).
- Perform manual labour tasks including trenching, digging, and backfilling.
- Load and unload materials and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Operate hand and power tools under supervision.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organised work site.
- Follow instructions accurately and contribute positively to team morale.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
- Commitment to safety procedures.
- Valid Australian Driver's License.
- White Card (Construction Induction Card).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction, civil works, or similar manual labour roles.
- Basic understanding of telecommunications or electrical infrastructure.
- First Aid certification.
- Traffic management accreditation.
