Job Description
We are seeking dynamic and customer-focused Bar Staff to join our team for casual night shifts. If you have a passion for hospitality, excellent interpersonal skills, and are keen to work in a lively environment, we encourage you to apply. This role is perfect for someone looking for flexible hours, primarily evenings and weekends, to serve a diverse range of guests in our vibrant bar.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly and efficiently.
- Prepare and present drinks, including basic cocktails, to a high standard.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked bar area.
- Process payments accurately using POS systems and handle cash.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive experience.
- Adhere to all responsible service of alcohol (RSA) regulations and venue policies.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including stock rotation and cleaning duties.
- Monitor customer behaviour and ensure a safe environment for all patrons.
Required Skills
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.
- Basic knowledge of beverage preparation and service.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to handle cash and operate POS systems accurately.
- A positive attitude and ability to work well within a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a bar or hospitality setting.
- Knowledge of cocktail preparation.
- Experience with different beer tap systems.
- First Aid certification (desirable).
