Key Responsibilities

• Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and a variety of fresh toppings according to established company recipes and high standards.
• Accurately and efficiently assemble pizzas, ensuring consistent quality, proper portioning, and appealing presentation.
• Safely and effectively operate pizza ovens, monitoring cooking times and temperatures to achieve perfect results.
• Maintain a meticulously clean and organized workstation and kitchen area throughout all shifts, adhering to cleanliness protocols.
• Strictly adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations and procedures.
• Assist with inventory management tasks, including receiving deliveries, stocking shelves, and proper stock rotation as needed.
• Collaborate seamlessly with team members to ensure smooth and efficient service, especially during peak hours.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including cleaning and preparation, as required for daily operations.

Required Skills

• Ability to work night shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as per roster.
• Demonstrated strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
• Genuine eagerness to learn new skills and follow instructions.
• Capacity to work effectively and maintain composure in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment.
• Good verbal communication skills and a team-player attitude.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and handle kitchen equipment safely.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic understanding of kitchen operations or previous experience in food preparation (even informal).
• Current Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
• Current Food Handlers Certificate or willingness to obtain one upon employment.
