Job Description

Capral Aluminium is seeking a dedicated Aluminium Fabricator Offsider to join our team in Geelong. This role is crucial in supporting our skilled fabricators, ensuring efficient production and the highest quality aluminium products. Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled Aluminium Fabricators with various tasks as directed.
- Safely operate a range of power tools, including saws, drills, and grinders, for cutting, shaping, and finishing aluminium components.
- Prepare and position materials for fabrication, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and housekeeping standards.
- Perform quality checks on finished products and report any defects.
- Assist with the loading, unloading, and movement of raw materials and finished goods.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team culture.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to safely and effectively use various power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks.
- Basic understanding of workshop safety procedures.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or construction environment.
- Forklift license (LF) or willingness to obtain.
- Basic knowledge of aluminium fabrication processes.
- White Card (Construction Induction Card).
