Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Change Lead to drive significant corporate culture transformation initiatives within Telstra. This pivotal role focuses on understanding, shaping, and embedding new cultural norms and behaviours across our organisation to support strategic objectives and enhance employee engagement. You will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and managing change strategies that foster a positive, agile, and customer-centric culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive change management strategies specifically focused on corporate culture, aligning with Telstra's strategic vision.
• Conduct cultural assessments, identify key areas for development, and provide insights to senior leadership.
• Design and facilitate workshops, training programs, and communication plans to embed desired cultural attributes and behaviours.
• Partner with HR, internal communications, and business unit leaders to ensure integrated and consistent messaging around cultural change.
• Monitor, measure, and report on the effectiveness of cultural change initiatives, making data-driven recommendations for adjustments.
• Act as a trusted advisor to leaders and teams, providing guidance and support through periods of cultural transition.
• Identify and manage resistance to change, developing strategies to mitigate potential risks and foster buy-in.
• Champion new ways of working and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cultural adoption.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in leading large-scale organisational change programs, with a specific focus on corporate culture transformation.
• Deep understanding of change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci ADKAR) and their practical application.
• Exceptional communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills at all levels of an organisation.
• Ability to diagnose cultural challenges, design effective interventions, and measure impact.
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with experience delivering workshops and training.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, complex, and evolving environment.
• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Business Management, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification in Organisational Psychology, Change Management, or a related discipline.
• Certification in a recognised change management methodology (e.g., Prosci).
• Experience working within the telecommunications or technology sector.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools to track change effectiveness.
