Job Description
Are you looking for an active role where you can make a tangible difference every day? Electrodry Carpet Dry Cleaning in Berri is seeking a motivated and reliable Carpet Cleaning Offsider to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position is perfect for someone eager to learn the ropes of professional carpet and upholstery cleaning. You will work alongside experienced technicians, traveling to various client locations across Berri and the surrounding Riverland region, assisting with all aspects of our cleaning services. No prior experience is necessary – we provide comprehensive training! Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead technicians with the preparation and execution of carpet and upholstery cleaning services.
- Safely load and unload cleaning equipment, solutions, and supplies from vehicles.
- Set up and pack down equipment at client sites efficiently.
- Support technicians in moving furniture and protecting surrounding areas during cleaning.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of company vehicles and equipment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines at client locations.
- Provide excellent customer service by being polite, respectful, and helpful to clients.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and assist with other duties as required.
Required Skills
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy equipment (up to 25kg).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid Australian driver's license and reliable transport to our Berri depot.
- Commitment to punctuality and attendance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a physical labour role or customer service is a plus, but not essential.
- Basic understanding of cleaning techniques or equipment operation.
