Job Description
Join Sherwin-Williams as a Painter’s Offsider and kickstart your career in industrial painting. This entry-level position offers comprehensive training in a clean, professional industrial environment. You will work alongside experienced painters, learning vital skills in surface preparation, application techniques, and site safety. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to learn a trade, develop practical skills, and contribute to high-quality industrial coating projects. No prior experience is required; we provide all the necessary training.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist experienced industrial painters with all aspects of surface preparation, including cleaning, sanding, masking, and setting up containment.
- Help mix, prepare, and transport paints and coatings to the work area.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the worksite, tools, and equipment.
- Ensure proper storage and disposal of materials according to safety and environmental guidelines.
- Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Learn and apply best practices for industrial painting and coating application.
- Perform general labor tasks as required to support painting operations.
Required Skills
- Willingness to learn and take direction.

Preferred Qualifications
