Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented WFH Data Verification Specialist with a focus on Finance & Credit to join our remote team. This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of critical financial and credit-related data, directly contributing to our operational efficiency and compliance. You will be responsible for verifying data against source documents, identifying discrepancies, and maintaining strict adherence to regulatory standards. This is a 100% remote position, offering the flexibility to work from your home in Bendigo, VIC, Australia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of financial and credit application data against source documents.
  • Identify and report discrepancies, errors, or inconsistencies in a timely manner.
  • Cross-reference information across various internal systems and external databases to ensure data integrity.
  • Maintain strict adherence to data privacy, compliance regulations, and internal company policies.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams to resolve data-related queries or issues.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of data verification processes and tools.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Excellent written communication skills for reporting discrepancies and internal correspondence.

  • Basic understanding of financial principles and credit terminology.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in data entry, data verification, or a similar administrative role.
