Job Description
Are you a friendly, energetic individual looking to kickstart your career in the restaurant industry? TGI Fridays in Elizabeth, NJ, is seeking enthusiastic Restaurant Hosts/Hostesses for night and weekend shifts. As the first and last impression of our restaurant, you’ll play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet all guests upon arrival and thank them genuinely upon departure.
- Manage the waitlist and seating chart efficiently, ensuring fair table rotation.
- Escort guests to their tables, present menus, and inform them of their server's name.
- Answer phone calls, take reservations, and answer guest inquiries.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area.
- Assist servers and other team members as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate when necessary.
- Monitor dining room activity to determine seating and dining flow.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
