Job Description
Are you looking for an entry-level opportunity to kickstart your career in hospitality? Mantra Gladstone is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our kitchen team as a Kitchen Hand. No prior experience is required – we provide comprehensive training! This is a fantastic chance to learn the ropes of a professional kitchen, work with a friendly team, and enjoy great perks like free meals during shifts and weekly pay.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks, such as washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and utensils.
- Operate dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Clean kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and floors regularly.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper rotation of stock.
- Dispose of waste and recycling appropriately.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
- Support the kitchen team as needed during service periods.
Required Skills
- No prior experience required – full training provided!
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Eager to learn and take direction.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.

Preferred Qualifications
